"Thank you for allowing us to teach your children and for taking the time to help us improve our camps and lessons."

Client Comments

"Misty Brae Farm has taught me alot about horses and how to take care of them!  I've learned alot the past year!  I have improved tremendosly on my riding here!  Thanks so much for being patient with me!!"

"Misty Brae Farm is a wonderful place to spend everyday. I have been riding for 5 years three of them were spent here at Misty Brae farm and I continue to learn new things.  I am able to work with young girls and boys that share interest in becoming young equestrians some day and it gives me joy.  Misty Brae is a wonderful place to make friends and ride wonderful horses while doing something that I love...riding. Thank you Tori for everything and getting me to where I am now."

"Ann Marie loved every bit of it. She loved what she learned and meeting other little girls who loved horses. I was afraid it was going to be too long of a day for her but she could have kept going!  I felt she learned quite a bit also and realized how much she progressed with her confidence around the horses not just riding them."

"Hannah has counted the days until her return to camp. It was miserably hot and she couldn't wait to go back every day. Must be great fun."

"Great! Great! Great!. Most importantly my kids were happy and safe. I thought the instructor had a good balance of being able to push the girls without having them be scared.  It was a structured camp yet very playful.  We would
love to come again in the winter. I've already told friends and neighbors about Misty Brae."

Another Clients Comments:
1.  Instruction: " Each instructor was very knowledgeable and often didn't allow the children to stray away from duties or instructions.  Hurray!"
2. Atmosphere:  "The atmosphere was certainly "barn-like" but very real for the children to see and understand the reality of taking care of a horse and its environment."
3. Over all experience:  "Quite wonderful. Isabelle was thrilled to get upon the horses and I'm glad she got to experience the hard work in keeping a horse!  Work with great reward."
4.  Would you be interested in future camps or would you feel your experience was positive enough to recommend us to future campers?: " I'm very interested in more camps.  And would especially like to see after school programs in the fall."
"I'd recommend the camp to those who'd be interested."   Thank YOU.
"Ansley and Grace enjoyed every second of horse camp. It seemed to be hard work in the heat and still they had only good things to say. I have very limited knowledge of horses and riding; however, my brief observation of the instruction was impressive. The instructors continued to advise them as they rode and seemed to have high standards for their riding."

"My daughter, Cary had a wonderful experience. She learned a lot about taking care of a horse in addition to riding at a beginning level. She found your camp to be not only fun but informative. The employees gave the camp a family atmosphere and the students were instantly comfortable. I thank you for a great experience at a reasonable price."

"Bottom line - Lindsay loves being at the barn and loves your horses!  It's been a very positive experience for her. She's enjoyed having lessons with you as well. It's nice to see a different teaching style. I think she's responding well to you so thanks!"

Tori,
I just have to share this with you... but you will know most of it already. April was meant to be with Anya, they are a perfect match... that is all there is to it.
As I have shared with you, we have had some difficult experiences with Anya.... Anya will push push push push push me until I am about ready to blow. Since the arrival of April into her life, Anya has learned better coping skills. When Anya gets on April to much, April gives right back what Anya gives her .... sometimes, and I truly appreciate this, April will test Anya... consequently Anya has had to learn that horses are not predictable and that while you are the boss they like to be in control as well. This has made some mountains that I was beginning to believe were insurmountable into mole hills that we are slowly climbing over with great success. This child who didn't like to do her chores before now has true motivation. She cleans Aprils stall every day, well when ever there is a mess in it... the horses are out for the most part, but have been in due to the rain. Anya feeds her, and helps clean her hooves as well as does the majority of her grooming. As you know Anya is very shy, her personality has come through in new ways.... in the past Anya was afraid to give treats to horses for fear of being bitten. April has always been very gentle about taking carrots, apples and treats from her and now is more comfortable in giving treats to the other two, Bronco Buck and Susie Q. ... Anya adores her and lives for her... since school has been out, Anya runs into my room as soon as she wakes and wants to go to the barn... we have been spending mornings out there and we all love it. It makes my heart swell when I see her in the saddle trotting around with a big confident smile on her face.... that alone is worth more than we could have ever paid for April...
For this I have to thank you. For taking April in until it was time for us to find her. You know I believe in divine intervention - in my opinion, April would have fit in any number of households but was meant to be ours. Words are not enough, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You made the buying process easy, not always the case, and I appreciate that. Your a true gem in a world of hard rocks.

Thanks again so very much! You have done more for one little girl than you will ever know.
God bless and much love,

Susan and Anya Copeland
